Our Philosophy
Discovery Leadership Coaching (DLC) is co-founded by Florence and Julia with the intention of making a difference, catalyzing positive change in the lives of the people we encounter.
We believe you do not have to be born with specific characteristics or traits of a leader. You do not have to wait for a tap on the shoulder or get someone else’s approval. You do not have to be at the top of your organization to achieve this positive change. Instead, you can discover your potential right now.
Like musicians and athletes, you must devote yourself to a lifetime of realizing your potential. Leadership will emerge from your life story as you focus on growing and serving others. All of us have the spark of leadership in us, whether it is in business, in government, at home or as a nonprofit volunteer. The challenge is to understand ourselves well enough to discover where we can use our leadership gifts to serve others.
